JC Magnetic Coupling Type Cable Drum

Overview: JC unpowered magnetic coupling type cable drums are specially used for electric flat cars. Its power is led out of the traveling system of the mobile equipment to a set of sprocket that will re-input the power to the transmission sprocket of the cable drum. Then, through the differential adjustment by the magnetic coupling, the power will drive the operation of the cable drum. By adjusting the tension of the magnetic coupling, the cable tension can be adjusted corresponding, realizing automatic cable winding and release. If the cable to wind is long (over 50m), you may add a P reciprocating wire guide device before the cable drum that adopts a fully mechanical transmission mechanism to realize automatic multilayer orderly cable arrangement.

Working principle of cable drum:1. During cable winding: The open-type sprocket installed on the traveling wheel shaft of the electric flat car operates, drives the clutch sprocket to rotate, and drives the drum through magnetic coupling to wind up the cable. It utilizes the automatic differential of the magnetic coupling to realize the operation synchronization with the electric flat cat.2. During cable release: The clutch sprocket is idle and doesn't transmit power to the magnetic coupling. Under the action of the cable tension, the cable drum overcomes the damping that prevents the inertial rotation of drum, and releases the cable at the same time.
