YVFCR Variable Frequency Cable Drum

Overview: YVFCR variable frequency cable drums adopt frequency converter to realize the accurate control of output torque. As the cable winding radius changes, they can provide a corresponding changing driving torque to realize a constant tension on the cable. The cable winding and release speed of the cable drum can also be kept in optimal synchronization with the mobile equipment. Structural characteristics of variable-frequency cable drum: It consists of a variable frequency motor, a reduction box, a collector, a cable drum and an electrical control box. It has many merits, such as small motor volume, applicable torque characteristics, stable performance and easy to adjust, and is applicable to collect the large-specification long-distance service cables of port machinery. Particularly, it has eliminated the issue where the traditional cable drums cannot adapt to the great lifting height and speed of the new generation of lifting machinery.

Compositions of the system:

1. Cable reel: Its boundary dimensions depends on the specification and traveling distance of cable.

2. Collector slip ring box.

3. Variable frequency motor with brake.

4. Electronic control system: Electrical control cabinets for the indoor. Electrical control boxes for the outdoor.

5. Cable guiding rack: Universal cable guiding rack and tension protection cable guiding rack are optional.

6. Encoder junction box: Selected for indoor electrical control cabinet.

7. Remote control box: Optional accessory. Can be installed at the gantry leg of the crane to provide simple cable winding function and fault reset function.

8. Cable anchorage guiding rack: Optional accessory. Used to change cable direction. Optional for bridge crane, etc.
